I decided to go a bit different from my typical pet portrait. On a particularly long road trip with a teeny kitten on my lap, I started playing around with my camera. And so did the kitten 🙂

Best Face of 2011 | I Heart Faces Photo Challenge

This was one of the last photos I took in 2011, but it’s one of my favorites. I captured this image on my daughter’s first morning at home. Both my husband and I were on leave, and we savored some lazy mornings as a family in our bed, but this was one of the first “father/daughter moments” that my husband had with Natalie.
